Snapshot Sunday #1

So I finally took the plunge. After a few months of saving I treated myself to my first ever DSLR - the Canon 1100D. It was well worth the wait!

I'm obviously a beginner (very much so!) so will be playing about with it for a while. I've decided to start a new feature on my blog - Snapshot Sunday - where I will upload a photo taken from the week, alongside a bit of a round up of how my week's gone. It could be anything from something I've bought, to food, to my boyfriend's cats...

And what better way to start with a typical cliché camera in mirror shot.



After a bit of a mental week at work, I've enjoyed quite a relaxing weekend. I won't go into it too much but things really got on top of me this week, so I was very grateful for a couple of days to forget about the stress I've endured and enjoy a few glasses of wine along the way.
Today Ben and I had a rather lovely lay in, followed by a warming lunch of tomato soup & crusty bread. This afternoon I've done a little DIY which I will put up on here later in the week. The rest of my afternoon will be spent drinking hot chocolate and catching up on Ant & Dec. Followed by a naughty dinner with my Mum, seeing as it's just the two of us tonight. Eat out or take away?
