Firstly, my brother proposed to his girlfriend on the morning of Christmas Day, and she accepted! I had a little inkling he was going to ask her soon. I think the Swag jewellers bag kinda gave it away as well! He went to the trouble of asking her parents' permission - I didn't even realise people still did that, how lovely?!
And then, just after Tom had told our Grandparents he and Suzie are engaged, they turned round and said that our cousin is pregnant with her first baby! Yay!
We had a great day, and I got lots of lovely gifts - including this gorgeous print from one of my favourite shops on folksy, a candle making kit, jewellery making supplies, a rock 'n rose scrabble ring, a pretty floral bag, £100 from my Grandparents [much appreciated, going into my savings!] & lots of other gorgeous bits and bobs. I must have been good this year!
Also, after a good couple of weeks of resisting the urge [I'm not sure how I managed it!], I was able to open my folksy secret santa. Charlotte of Charlotte Hupfield Ceramics was my secret santa, and she sent me some gorgeous green ceramic heart hanging decorations! She got me spot on - with the colour [it's my favourite] and the texture, which is a lovely lacey one - I love lace! Here is a photo of one of them, hanging under my Kurt Halsey kitty sculpture!
So thank you again Charlotte, I love them!
I'm just 4 sales away from 90 in my shop so the next 4 sales will have 10% discounted - refunded through paypal. And, of course, whoever gives me my 90th sale will receive a free gift with their purchase.
Maybe this will sell? It's had enough views and favourites :)
