Ruby Zoisite

Happy Easter! Hope you're all having a lovely long weekend. I haven't done much at all, apart from spend some time with family, watch The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas and The Notebook [both tear-jerkers] and generally laze around. Had a bit of a craving for Nando's, so boyfriend and I had that last night - they now do veggie and beanie wraps. Had a veggie wrap and it was gooood, nicer than the pitta I'd say. I love the confused expressions I get when I tell people I like Nando's - I know it's a chicken restaurant, but like most places they do cater for vegetarians too!

So basically, feeling a little bit more well-off as my Grandparents gave me £100 the other day - this gave me great cause to buy a few supplies! I was still very careful with my money, and calculated the total before I commited to buy - I usually have a habit of chucking whatever in my basket, and then spending more than I really should.

Yummy Ruby Zoisite

I also bought some sterling silver toggle clasps and wire, so I'm hoping to make a couple of bracelets for my shop soon - been making a lot of earrings and pendants lately, and I do like making bracelets.

I got a total of 5 Easter eggs - think I'll be taking some to my boyfriend's tonight so he can help me out with them, which I don't think he'll have any problem with! Anyone else looking forward to watching Jonathan Creek tonight? I wish they would bring it back for good.

xx

  2. isn't it gorgeous. I have some (different shape) that looks identical that was sold as ruby in fuchsite, wonder if they are just different names for the same stone. I know what you mean about spending too much!

  3. I love Ruby Zoisite too. They were one of the first beads I bought when I started making jewellery.
I only had one egg :( which I've scoffed already!
