Birthday Wishlist!

It's my birthday next month. I'll be spending it in Malta, which should make turning 28 (eeek) a little more bareable.
I've found that the older I get, the more difficult it is to compile a list of things I'd like for my birthday. My best friend and boyfriend ask me for a list, but with my parents it's easy - money, or I'll choose my own gift. Other than a caterpillar cake (I want to re-live my childhood), here are a few of the things I have asked for.

birthday wishlist!

Diana F+ SLR Adaptor - I love the idea of being able to use all my Diana F+ lenses on my SLR so this went straight onto my wishlist.

Charbonnel Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles - my favourite truffles evereverever!

Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Lens - Since buying my first SLR I have wanted to upgrade from the kit lens and have heard great things about this one. I have also asked my Mum if she can give me some money towards the 50mm 1.8 lens. Decisions, decisions!

Models Own Nail Art Pens - I love these pastel shades and would like to expand on my nail art pens collection so these would be lovely.

Bath & Bodyworks Mahogany Teakwood Candle - I posted about this candle fairly recently. I just love it so much! Smells soooo good.

Blue Patchwork Skater Dress - I love everything about this. The print, colour and style. So pretty!

Birthday gifts.

I was given some amazing presents for my birthday last Saturday, and thought I would share a few of them with you. I'm still waiting on my present from my brother and sister-in-law but I'm told it's in the post on its way to me. Don't you just love it when the gifts keep coming after your birthday? ;)

Topshop bunny onesie,Zara jeggings, New Look lilac blazer [which I also have in mint], slippers, Plastic Cameras by Michelle Bates, Toy Cameras by Kevin Meredith, Mo Hayder Hanging Hill, Remington straighteners [I think my boyfriend prefers my hair straight..], Paperchase cupcake set, cake pops kit [already tried! :)], Hello Kitty pasta shapes [joke present from Ben's Mum], keyring with the meaning of my name, Yankee Vanilla Cupcake candle, Starbucks and Vue giftcards.

#27...

I turned the ripe old age of 27 on Saturday. I always get depressed over turning another year older [3 years from 30 - how the hell did that happen?!] but I had the best day so that made up for it.

My boyfriend gave me my cake in the morning, as he does every year. This year I got a pretty pink cake, decorated with butterflies and roses.

I opened a few presents in the morning [I got some wonderful gifts, and plan to do a post on them soon], then we got ready and went for a pub breakfast. We then got the train to Waterloo and headed to The Strand, where we went to The Adelphi Theatre to see Sweeney Todd.

It was absolutely fantastic - couldn't fault anything at all. The cast were amazing, especially Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton. I also thought Jason Manford made a very good Pirelli! I think Ben quite liked it too, despite not being a fan of musicals at all.

After the show, we had to dash back home to get ready for the night. As I can't stand organising things, my friend Shaun planned drinks at a couple of the local pubs for me. I had a very good night, got very drunk and drove my boyfriend very mad. But he forgave me!

I get very affectionate when intoxicated. And emotional. I cried on my best friend's shoulder as it was the night before she went off travelling. Gonna miss you mush. ♥
