Frugal February - a wishlist.

I decided that this month I would attempt to cut back on my spending and save a bit of extra money. I haven't picked the best of months - my car went in for its MOT tonight, booking a holiday soon, Valentines day [not a big deal to us but we still do little presents] as well as my boyfriend's birthday on the 15th. But it's a shorter month...I can do it, right? And why not just torture myself with a wishlist!?

I have been so close to ordering one of the new Illamasqua Speckle nail polishes. I have a feeling I'll end up giving in, especially as they're limited edition! I'm all over statement necklaces at the moment, this one from Zara is just gorgeous. Another temptation!
I have bought a few more pieces of druzy since making these pieces of jewellery. Yet I still want more. It's just so beautiful!
The main thing I'm saving for right now is a DSLR. I'm trying to keep a little aside each month for this baby. I'm still looking around a bit, but I have heard excellent things about this camera so I'm pretty set on it!

Rose gold name necklace.

Being a jewellery maker/crafter myself, I really appreciate handmade things and am always on the hunt for handmade gifts for others, as well as myself.

I actually stumbled across Specially For U whilst browsing on Etsy - like I do a lot. I love rose gold jewellery so I was instantly drawn to the personalised rose gold name necklace. I popped it into my favourites straight away and it stayed there until I finally caved and purchased one a few weeks ago.




I'm extremely happy with my necklace - I purchased it on the 17th July, then it was dispatched just a few days later and I had it about a week later. So it came very quickly, and it was lovingly wrapped too.

The quality is amazing. You can choose how long you want the chain to be. I asked for mine to be 45cms, and it's the perfect length for me - I thought that if it was too long I could always alter it anyway, but it's fine :)



I highly recommend this shop if you're looking for a piece of personalised jewellery. They also make sterling silver and gold pieces, so there are other options if rose gold isn't for you!

Recent purchases - vintage, h&m & personalised rose gold

Just a few things I have aquired recently.




The mint green blouse is vintage [1970s], a great ebay find. Been after a shirt this colour for a while, so was pleased to find it!

Lots of love for rose gold with the shoes from h&m [£7 in the sale!] and the personalised necklace from a lovely little shop on etsy. Might do a seperate post on the necklace;I'm so happy with it!



And then I had a bit of a splurge Saturday - bought this burgandy jumper in h&m [couldn't find the coral one on my wishlist, still on the look out!] and the socks are Topshop [obviously].
